ABOUT US
Zeta Beta Omega is a Toronto Jewish sorority for post-secondary students. The sorority was founded on the principles of creating a safe environment for students passionate about campus and community involvement. Zeta Beta Omega is openly against any hazing rituals. Our five pillars guide us to be the best sorority and individuals we can be.

The sorority was founded on December 3rd, 2018 by Aliza Rosen and Kayla Shainhouse. Although recently founded, Zeta Beta Omega has grown greatly and continues to expand every year.
​
With no specific philanthropy linked to the Zeta Beta Omega sorority, we believe in giving to multiple organizations that align with our beliefs giving focus on Jewish charities.

WHY JOIN A SORORITY?
Joining a sorority is a great opportunity to make new friends, get involved on campus and give back to the community.
WHERE IS ZBO BASED?
Most sororities are based on a specific campus. ZBO is based on the University of Toronto St George campus which means the majority of our events are held there. Although this is the case, we accept and encourage students from all schools in the GTA to join!
WILL I GET HAZED?
No!​
Zeta Beta Omega has a strict anti-hazing policy. We believe in building bonds with potential sisters through a positive environment.
HOW DO I JOIN?
Come out to our recruitment period in September or January. Check our Instagram page to find out when our recruitment events are!
DO I HAVE TO BE JEWISH TO JOIN?
No, people from all faiths and ethnicities are welcome to rush!
IS JOINING A SORORITY EXPENSIVE?
Not if you join ZBO! Most sorority dues can be pricey and we sympathize with that. Zeta Beta Omega prides itself on understanding a student-friendly budget and our objective is to allocate our funds in the most efficient manner.
